As our Car Cleaner you will be responsible for the presentation of all vehicles serviced with our workshop.

  • Current manual drivers licence
  • A positive and polite attitude
  • Experience with applying protection products
  • The ability to work in a professional and well organsied team environment.

Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded however not essential

Cleaner

We are looking to recruit a Cleaner who will work with the Facility Manager to ensure the delivery of high quality cleaning. Working within a team environment and reporting to the Facility Manager, the services provided by Support Workers are in keeping with the lifestyle approach to the needs of Residents.

Essential

  • Willingness to embrace the Christian principles of Braemar Presbyterian Care.
  • Ability to relate to older people with empathy and understanding.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to complete busy workload and respond to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work around residents living with dementia.
  • Current Federal Police Clearance.

In addition the following criteria would be a real asset but are not essential:

  • Previous experience in Residential Aged Care Facilities
  • Senior First Aid Certificate

Night Cleaner

Mantra on Hay is currently seeking a Night Cleaner to join their team.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Service and clean all allocated areas, ensuring all tasks are completed at or above the required standard.
  • Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints, and provides accurate information to guests about the property facilities and features.
  • Comply with all guest privacy and security procedures.
  • Undertake special cleaning projects, as directed.
  • Follow the correct procedures for all lost property items.
  • Notify the appropriate person of all maintenance problems, damaged equipment and missing items, immediately.
  • Handles all amenities, chemicals and equipment according to specific instructions and OH&S standards.

The successful candidate will have:

Your experience will need to include completing tasks within a set time period, and strong enough English skills to communicate with others, including leaders and hotel guests.

The ideal candidate will also have availability to work across a seven day rotating roster when needed.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, you will assist Room Attendants in their housekeeping duties including assistance to carry heavy items such as mattresses and linens, delivering linen and other supplies, sorting soiled linen in the chute room, transferring all the loaded trolleys to the loading dock and transferring of all the clean linen from the loading dock to the linen store room.

You will be required to attend and participate in daily briefings, meetings and training sessions as scheduled and to use specialised equipment in the course of your work.
This is a fast paced environment in a luxury hotel property. You will need to be strong, healthy and fit and have a passion for hospitality and cleaning.

Ideally, you’ll have strong communication skills and experience in a hotel is preferred.  You will have excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards and teamwork.

You will need to be physically mobile and able to carry, push or lift heavy objects such as mattress’s, linen, beds and furniture. Knowledge of safe working habits, chemical handling and hotel operations is desirable.

Your experience will need to include completing tasks within a set time period, and strong enough English skills to communicate with others, including leaders and hotel guests.

The ideal candidate will also have availability to work across a seven day rotating roster when needed.

Additionally candidates must have unrestricted and unlimited working rights for Australia.
