Casual Housekeeping Position

The Riverview on Mount Street is a serviced apartment complex nestled between Kings park and the city. We seek an experienced casual housekeeper. The successful candidate must have
– 2 year or more experience in room cleaning for hotel, motels or resorts in Australia or New Zealand
– A keen eye for detail
– Be punctual, dedicated and reliable
– A capacity to work well unsupervised
– Flexible and able to work on weekdays and weekends
– Positive and friendly personality

Food & Beverage and Housekeeping Attendants

The recently refurbished Pagoda Resort & Spa is located South of Perth just minutes away from Perth CBD and overlooks Perth’s beautiful Swan River. This international 4 Star Hotel offers a unique selection of Hotel rooms, suites as well as one and two bedroom apartments. All 101 accommodation rooms have generous in-room facilities with spas and feature a variety of views over the river, parkland or the superbly landscaped pool side gardens.
We are currently seeking experienced casual/part time Housekeeping Attendants for our Housekeeping department and casual Food and Beverage Attendants to work in our Banquets and Restaurant department.
Applicants must have some experience in F&B and housekeeping operations, be well presented and committed to providing service excellence. Both roles are hands on roles that require a lot of lifting and movement throughout your shift.

Food and Beverage applicants must have the following;

Responsible Service of Alcohol
A current Police Clearance
Excellent communication skills
A passion for customer service
Be flexible in their availability and available to work weekends

Room Attendant/Cleaner (Part Time – 25 hours per week)

We have an opportunity to join our Accommodation and Support Services team who provide support to people affected by cancer. Your main responsibilities will include:

General cleaning of designated areas
Waste management duties
Operation of security systems
Changing of linen
Notifying and liaising with Hotel Services Coordinator when necessary for maintenance and repair issues
Assisting with catering at functions
Liaising with reception staff regarding room availability
Who are you?

To be successful in this role you will have the following key attributes:
Previous experience in the areas of housekeeping and cleaning of an accommodation facility
Ability to engage in physical work
Strong communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
Have a positive approach to the workplace
Actively foster the development of a culture consistent with the values of Cancer Council WA.
Experience in providing support to people diagnosed & living with cancer is desirable
This position is part-time, 30 hrs a week, Monday to Friday (morning shifts only, start and finish times will vary according to roster).
