Role

We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to join our team. Under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager, our Housekeeping Team will assist in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms in line with the established standards.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to;

Carry out all general cleaning duties, achieving the set standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet guest needs and exceed expectations;

Clean all public areas of the hotel as assigned to you ensure immaculate presentation;

Maintain cleanliness of public area restrooms, elevators and hotel entrances;

Ensure guest supplies are replenished to the correct standards;

Clean mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces and vacuum where needed;

Report and log any lost property following the hotel procedures.

Undertake scheduled and regular deep cleaning duties as allocated.

A flexible schedule is preferred as evening and weekend work will be necessary.

Skills & Experience

You will likely already possess 2 to 3 years of experience working within a Housekeeping Team.

You will be well versed in cleaning techniques and have excellent knowledge of cleaning chemicals supported by a strong work ethic. The role will require an exceptional level of communication, organisation, attention to detail, and commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.

This role will require excellent written and spoken English.

An understanding of the needs and desires of the luxury traveller are essential.

Nanny/Housekeeper/Cleaner

About the business and the role

Our Family is looking to employ a Nanny/Housekeeper/Cleaner for 12-15 hours per week.

This position is available for someone who is highly organised, energetic, safety conscious, and has a real love for children. Honesty and reliability essential.

Flexible hours. Could suit someone studying nursing, early childhood studies or similar, who is looking for flexible part-time work.

Generally, in no more than 3-4 hour blocks. Mix of mornings and afternoons, weekends and mid-week.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities will include and not be limited to:

General running and maintenance of the household with 2 young boys aged 4 months and 2 Β½ years

Planning structured and well organised activities the toddler e.g. painting, arts and crafts, baking, counting, reading, etc

Interacting with and supervising the children as required

Playing with the eldest boy both indoors and outdoors, including taking them for walks to the local park

Preparing healthy meals for the toddler

Food planning and grocery shopping (if required)

Cooking meals (if required)

Laundry

General tidying and cleaning. Including mopping the floors, changing bed linen, wiping and dusting surfaces and ensuring kitchen and bathrooms are cleaned and kept neat and tidy.

Skills and experience

Successful applicants will have

Reasonable experience nannying, child care, or au pair work

A police clearance, or willing to get one

Live within reasonable distance of Shenton Park

Current First Aid and CPR certificate

Working with children check

Pertussis vaccination, or willing to get one

Roma Cucina, located in the historic West End of Fremantle is seeking motivated, respectful and friendly people who enjoy working in a fast paced Italian casual eatery. We are seeking cooks, kitchen hands and front of house wait staff to fill our full-time, part-time and casual positions.

Ability to work unsupervised

Ability to handle pressure and fast paced environment

Attention to cleanliness
