Some of our students were lucky enough to go on a trip after school to a Swiss Bakery in Subiaco. Here is an article written by the students.
We have been learning many things about grammar & vocabulary in a great atmosphere. One day in class, Swiss students in particular were nostalgic about their Swiss pastry. Then our teacher talked about a famous Swiss bakery and suggested us to go there before our classmate Milena left Perth. Students gathered after the class and decided to head down to the Swiss bakery in Subiaco called Jean Claude Patisserie . We were over the moon, especially the Swiss students! Our teacher joined us at the Subiaco station. We walked to Chez Jean-Claude Patisserie and bought a lot of pastries. And Emel surprised us by sharing a delicious, awesome apricot tart with us. We really had a pleasant time together at a nearby park while Lucas was playing guitar for us with his beautiful voice…… What a great way to learn English in such a melting pot!!!!!
Another new week! This year is going so quickly. Today we have new students, such a beautiful day at the beach for your first day. Welcome to everyone, we hope you enjoy your time in Australia and at Lexis. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
